I belong to a body of musicians who have experience on
their side. There are years of classical music studies crowned with my
master`s degree at a Conservatoire and first of all, the first-hand experience
gained from countless evening piano performances and occasional shows.
If one is really active in the field of music one’s training is
never-ending. Each performance has its own unique background, its own
story and each new performance has the character of the first. But for
this, I would have given up playing and singing long ago.
I started playing at the age of eight, and at the age of sixteen I was
already on stage, among other performers. This odyssey has been continuing
up to now, through the piano bars, dancing clubs, open-air parties ( parties
on the squares), major hotels in Venice and abroad (South Africa, Zimbabwe
and the United States). In the recent years the embodiment of my dreams,
the realization of my ambition – the theatre show; abundant with
music, songs, satirical recitations. In fact, I have always liked watching
the world go by, thinking about our attitudes, behaviors, habits, just
to make some accurate, ironic remarks. It is important to halt for a moment
and go beyond run-of-the-mill things of everyday life, some schemes and
conventions. If we don`t do this we will lose our ability to laugh. Music
and theatre are the most important elements of my life. They can`t be
simply hobbies. (As a hobby you can go fishing or cycling). Nevertheless,
because of this solid conviction viewing music as a hobby I also live
in another dimension of life- I am a literature teacher. This “more
appropriate” job is also important to me. Owing to this, my love
for Italian and Latin literature can be cultivated and, needless to say,
the teacher is constantly on stage. If a teacher is not a performer, he
becomes boring.
That is enough of my musing. Attached is a resume for your inspection.
